Pick-Dressed Tile

Pick-Dressed bluestone tiles will give your outdoor spaces an orderly look with a disorganised feel thanks to their non-continuous, but parallel carvings. Their surface offers a subtle contrast of light grey carvings against the dark grey of the stone and brings out the authenticity and sparkle of the material in its raw state.

The rhythmic and subtly linear appearance of Pick-Dressed coarse makes it possible to dress outdoor floor and wall coverings with character. Pick-Dressed fine tiles can be used indoors to decorate walls and other decorative walls with style.

The Coarse-grain Pick-Dressed tiles have rougher cut, with thicker, deeper and more spaced out carving. Their anti-slip properties make them particularly suitable for outdoor floor covering and their rhythmic appearance allows for original wall applications.

Fine-grain Pick-Dressed tiles are more delicate with tighter, lighter and thinner lines. They are reserved for interior wall applications.

Minimum thickness: 3 cm for fine-grain pick-dressed tiles and 5cm for coarse-grain pick-dressed tiles.

Slip resistance: R13 (DIN 51130) for fine-grain pick-dressed tiles

Application advice:

For outdoor application, we suggest going for tiles with a thickness of 3 cm and up to 5cm for driveways.
For tiles that are to be laid on pedestals, this must be specified when requesting a price quote and when ordering. For this laying technique, the maximum recommended size is 60x60cm and a minimum thickness of 4cm.

Care advice:

Blue stone tiles do not require any particular maintenance. The robustness and non-porosity of this natural stone naturally protect it from external aggression. Stains do not penetrate the material and will disappear with time and patina. And if you don’t want to wait, there are many effective remedies. Acidic products should be avoided, however.
