Dimpled Tile

Dimpled tiles of Carrières du Hainaut, light grey in colour, have many overlapping points. Their rough texture is accentuated thanks to its sharper relief parts, compared to Bush-Hammered tiles which have a softer, more rounded ruggedness.

The ultimate anti-slip tiles, on the floor, they are reserved for outdoor applications and generally for delicate passages, which require great vigilance and reinforced safety. Dimpled tiles are ideal for terraces and staircases, but can also be placed vertically, both indoors (for Fine-Grain Dimpled) and outdoors (Fine- or Coarse-Grain Dimpled), for original and creative wall coverings.

Fine-Grain Dimpled tiles have a more delicate with its small, light and tightly placed dots and are particularly suitable for creative interior wall cladding.

The wilder variant, Coarse-Grain Dimpled tiles with a coarser finish with deep and widely spaced white dots, are reserved for exterior applications and are generally used for delicate driveways. More audacious, it can also be the ultimate original and creative outdoor wall cover.

For interior, you would prefer to keep this finish exclusively as wall application and not for flooring for a better ease of cleaning.

Minimum thickness: 3 cm for grain dimpled tiles et 5cm for coarse grain dimpled tiles

Maximum thickness: 5 cm (more options available on request)

Application advice:

For outdoor application, we suggest going for tiles with a thickness of 3 cm and up to 5cm for driveways.
For tiles that are to be laid on pedestals , this must be specified when requesting a price quote and when ordering. For this laying technique, the maximum recommended size is 60x60cm and a minimum thickness of 4cm.

Care advice:

Blue stone tiles do not require any particular maintenance. The robustness and non-porosity of this natural stone naturally protect it from external aggression. Stains do not penetrate the material and will disappear with time and patina. And if you don’t want to wait, there are many effective remedies. Acidic products should be avoided, however.
