The Crust, which is dark grey in colour, refers to the upper and lower faces of the stone benches inside the quarry. Its irregular and natural appearance brings a touch of authenticity to your outdoor spaces.
The Crust is not a cut or a finish, but a natural, unworked surface that can also have drill holes. It is located at the junction between two successive benches, separated from each other by a non-adherent joint of stratification of great thickness, filled with carbonaceous and clayey material of low cohesion.
The average thickness varies in the same slab between 8 and 15 cm.
