For over 130 years now Carrières du Hainaut have been extracting and manufacturing this iconic, unique and authentic stone. By continuously developing the expertise and know-how of their teams and by constantly perfecting their equipment, the company has become the biggest ornamental limestone quarry in Europe.

Foundation of the Carrières du Hainaut stonecutter apprentice school
